Our Story
Based in Whakatane Stuart began WinStar in 2016 with the aim of delivering uncomplicated solutions for his clients wanting to attract a wider audience via the Internet.
Cheryl joined Stuart soon after, sharing the same passion for helping their clients to grow their businesses on line by working with them to design an effective social media strategy, customised to satisfy each client’s requirements.
Right from the start Stuart and Cheryl have been able to offer the latest in technology and design enabling their clients to achieve a consistent online presence helping to build their brand and gain a wider reach.

Cheryl Cross
Social Media Director
Cheryl started her professional career in 1999. She has a Charted Management Diploma in Management (CMIDIP MAN) Stockport College 2004 – 2006.
From 2002 to 2004 she achieved work based qualifications in Administration, Customer Services and Team Leadership.
Cheryl has been employed across a wide range of corporate organisations both Government and Private sectors.
She has various qualifications in leadership, management, customer services and administration.
Cheryl is passionate about delivering creative, smart, innovations that get their clients’ businesses seen online.
Stuart Cross
Managing Director
In 1999 Stuart was employed by an international industry leading software provider in the UK. He designed and developed a wide variety of Enterprise Applications and Website Content Management Systems.
From 2002 to 2016 Stuart was employed as a development team leader progressing to become a development manager.
In 2016 Stuart decided to start his own digital development company in Whakatane called WinStar
Stuart has a passion for delivering functional, secure, eye catching, professional products that make it easy for their clients’ customers to reach them with minimum effort. In turn helping their businesses to maximise sales.
